The Challenge
As a manufacturer producing sustainable metal packaging to varied global markets, Trivium Packaging needed an engaging way of showcasing the infinite design possibilities of the packaging they create.
The Insight
While creating the new Trivium Packaging web presence, it quickly became clear that we needed to find ways to showcase the possibilities of metal packaging, but there was also the potential for engagement with a wider creative community. The raw packaging is not visually engaging on its own, but provides an excellent blank canvas for designers.

The Solution
The Forever Canvas campaign achieved our two key aims, and more. This competition was open to students worldwide and judged by experts from the packaging world. The competition created some excellent, visually engaging designs that captured the possibilities of metal packaging, providing a suite of owned examples to showcase. It also positioned Trivium alongside their clients in championing great packaging design, it connected with up and coming talent.
The Results
Three winners were chosen from Spain, Argentina and Australia. From these packaging prototypes were commissioned and these featured in our lifestyle photoshoot. Each winner benefitted from a feature video and other PR opportunities.
